What is Roland Cloud Concerto? Concerto is a sample playback helper application that powers a variety of instruments in the Roland Cloud catalog, including FLAVR, Anthology, and Drum Studio. Concerto provides crystalline recording, rendering, and playback in any system or environment.

CONCERTO UPDATES
Concerto is now replete with a new EQ effect. This five-band EQ lets users create low-end and high-end shelves and increases maximum frequency manipulation for any Concerto instrument. Sculpt your sounds until things sound just right. Our Compressor effect is now called Dynamics and, along with a makeover, has new functionality. The Compressor now includes Auto Gain which makes smart adjustments to the signal based on your current settings. Our new Expander feature operates as a noise gate, making quiet sounds clearer and more dynamic. Our Flanger has also been updated to include a negative dynamic range for richer and more complex sonic possibilities. We recommend putting it on your whole kit.

Known for having luscious, fat bass, punchy, driving mids, and crisp and distinguished highs, it is no surprise that this synth would maintain its place of privilege in musician's racks to this day. Best known for its "massive sound," all one needs to do is load up some strings, pads or basses and simply play a few notes to understand how this instrument received this well-deserved reputation.

It's an ultra-deep sampled software synth called Anthology EP14. As you may have figured out by now, the EP stands for "electric Piano," and as always, Anthology stands for "easy to use, light on system resources, and great sounding." We'll let you guess where we came up with the "14." Regardless of the name, Anthology EP14 really does represent the great sounds of Roland distilled into a portable package.

Originally described over 25 years ago as "a sophisticated assortment of string, woodwind and brass sounds as well as professional percussion techniques such as rolls and flams" the orchestral sounds contained in Anthology Orchestra have withstood the test of time; so much so that we've been asked by several Roland Cloud members to recreate them with an addition to the Anthology series.
